_Info
I had the pleasure of Co-Direct this project at Steelworks, where we play with the intersection of high fashion and streetwear, exploring it withing an environment and billboards setting.
_Concept
For this project, our goal was to create a portable music player inspired by the revolutionary impact of the iPod when it first launched. Today, most people use their phones to listen to music, but we wanted to reimagine the concept of a standalone device.
What if we could bring back a portable music player that combines a sleek, modern design with some analog elements? And why not enhance it with features that are relevant for today’s users?
_Product Design
Every element of our music player is meticulously crafted with a clear and intentional value. Each component is designed not only for functionality but also to embody a clean and elegant aesthetic.
We started with the idea of a portable music player, but wanted to expand its functionality to include use as a speaker and the ability to run small apps for music creation, similar to a synthesizer. Our vision was to create a device that not only plays music but also offers a space for creativity and a moment of personal escape.
_Brand Identity & UI Design
We developed a cohesive brand identity for the product, seamlessly integrating a complete UI system with engaging animations. Our focus was on creating an experience that aligns with the product's design philosophy - clean, elegant, and purposeful.
Every detail, from the visual identity to the interactive elements, reflects our commitment to delivering a polished and intuitive user experience.
_Campaign
We also developed comprehensive 360° campaign materials.
In addition to the main film, we created poster assets and social media animations, ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand presence across all platforms.
We wanted to use the posters as teasers, keeping them minimal, and gradually through the campaign reveal more and more, until the "release date".
_RnD
Without a doubt, much of this project and its concepts originated from the R&D phase, where we experimented with various ideas to develop the visual language, storytelling approach, and determine which features to emphasize.
